Position Overview

Mövenpick Hotel Dubai is hiring a Kitchen Steward to support dishwashing operations, cleanliness, and organization in the back-of-house area. In this full-time role, you will help maintain hygiene standards, clean equipment, assist in stock control, and ensure all dish stations and BOH zones function smoothly. Primary Responsibilities

* Arrive on time and ready for each scheduled shift
* Break down and clean dishwashing machines thoroughly during and after service
* Change dish machine water and debris baskets hourly for optimal performance
* Keep chemical levels maintained and report low stock to supervisors
* Refresh wash, rinse, and sanitizer tanks in the three-compartment sink regularly
* Ensure sanitizer test strips are available and follow hygiene standards
* Keep sink shelves dry and organized, and handwashing stations fully stocked
* Maintain clean, orderly dish stations with a tidy soil table for efficient operations
* Empty trash and recycling bins on schedule and as needed
* Clean soaking basins and store non-food orders and BOH supplies systematically
* Maintain a clean slop sink, glass rack area, and assist with kitchen equipment organization
* Follow all opening and closing procedures assigned by supervisors

Candidate Requirements

* Minimum 1 year of experience as a steward or similar role preferred
* Physically fit with the ability to lift kitchen equipment and stand for long periods
* Strong work ethic, reliable time management, and willingness to follow cleaning schedules
* Comfortable working weekends and public holidays
* Basic communication skills in English (verbal and written)
* Able to work as part of a team and maintain positive relationships with colleagues
* Willingness to grow within the hospitality environment
