Kitchen Technician Job Vacancy in UAE Dubai
Responsibilities
Provide advice on equipment operation to dining staff.
Assist in major repairs, upgrades, and maintenance tasks.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance checks as per manufacturers recommendations.
Provide on-site support during special events and off-hours.
Install new equipment, repair leaks, maintain wiring controls, and replace defective parts.
Manage inventory and ensure proper maintenance of tools and equipment.
Key Skills and Knowledge Areas
In-depth knowledge of kitchen equipment.
Repair and maintenance of various kitchen and refrigeration equipment.
Buffet electrical set up during events.
Understanding of DM/HACCP inspection requirements.
Technical knowledge in kitchen hood separation and Ansul system operation.
Basic Food Hygiene training.
Familiarity with fire alarm and firefighting systems.
Awareness of DM hygiene requirements.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow manuals for operations and installations.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Quick response to emergency repair calls.
Soldering and blazing skills.
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot effectively.
Attention to detail in equipment servicing and installation.
Skills in laying electrical and sound cables, setting up audiovisual equipment, and completing work orders accurately.
