Laundry Operations
- Handle hotel linens and uniforms according to established laundry
cycles and textile care procedures.
- Follow the correct processes for different fabrics and laundry requirements.
- Complete assigned laundry duties according to schedules and deadlines agreed with Management.
- Maintain accurate operational logbooks and reports.
- Complete required daily checklists.
- Participate in monthly inventories and support accurate stock control.
Equipment and Chemical Handling
- Use laundry equipment safely and according to established operating procedures.
- Handle laundry chemicals in accordance with applicable health and safety requirements.
- Support the proper care and routine maintenance of laundry machinery.
- Report equipment malfunctions promptly to the appropriate supervisor.
- Report damaged linen and other textile issues requiring attention.
Workplace Standards
- Keep the assigned laundry area clean, organized, and ready for daily operations.
- Follow established health and safety procedures while carrying out laundry duties.
- Handle lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation relating to assigned operational activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality.
- 1-3 years of experience in a 4-5-star hotel.
- Practical understanding of hotel laundry operations, textile handling, and workplace organization.
