The Massage Therapist contributes directly to the hotel\'s wellness experience by delivering treatments that help guests relax, recover, and improve their overall sense of wellbeing. Each treatment requires careful attention to individual preferences, appropriate massage techniques, professional boundaries, and guest comfort.
Beyond performing treatments, the therapist helps maintain the complete spa experience by preparing treatment rooms, managing supplies, recording services, explaining available treatments, and supporting reservations. Consistent service quality strengthens guest satisfaction and encourages repeat visits to the hotel\'s wellness and leisure facilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide professional massage and body conditioning treatments to hotel guests and leisure club members.
* Apply appropriate techniques such as kneading, rubbing, and stroking to encourage relaxation, stimulate circulation, and ease muscular tension.
* Adapt massage techniques to individual guest requirements while remaining within approved treatment practices.
* Administer steam, dry heat, infrared, ultraviolet, or water-based treatments when requested and appropriate.
* Provide guests with guidance on suitable remedial or mobility exercises within the scope of the role.
* Record treatments accurately and maintain appropriate guest service documentation.
* Prepare treatment rooms before appointments and restore them promptly after each service.
* Ensure towels, oils, candles, treatment products, and other required supplies are clean, organized, and readily available.
* Maintain a relaxing, orderly, hygienic, and professional treatment environment.
* Understand massage reservations and assist with bookings for treatments and wellness packages.
* Maintain current knowledge of available massage services, treatment packages, leisure club facilities, and membership prices.
* Explain appropriate treatments and wellness options clearly to guests when assistance is requested.
* Deliver every treatment with careful attention to guest comfort, privacy, preferences, and satisfaction.
* Respond calmly and courteously to guest needs throughout the wellness experience.
* Build positive professional relationships with hotel guests, leisure club members, and colleagues.
* Coordinate with spa, leisure, front office, and other hotel teams when guest arrangements require additional assistance.
* Maintain high standards of personal presentation and hygiene throughout every shift.
* Clean and organize treatment equipment and work areas in accordance with hotel procedures.
* Follow established environmental, health, hygiene, and safety requirements.
* Use treatment products, linens, water, and other resources responsibly to support environmentally conscious hotel operations.

Ideal Profile
* Minimum 2-3 years of previous experience, preferably within the hotel or Hospitality sector.
* Professional massage therapy or related wellness certification is preferred.
* Practical experience delivering massage and body treatments in a spa, wellness center, leisure club, resort, or hotel environment.
* Sound knowledge of commonly used massage techniques and professional treatment practices.
* Strong awareness of guest privacy, personal hygiene, treatment-room cleanliness, and professional conduct.
* Able to remain attentive, calm, and courteous while responding to individual guest requirements.
* Comfortable working directly with an international guest base.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with guests and colleagues.
