The Operations Manager will connect daily departmental execution with broader property objectives. Their leadership will influence guest satisfaction, employee capability, workplace safety, cost management and the hotel’s overall financial results.
Key Responsibilities
The manager will provide visible leadership while maintaining accountability for service quality, safety, people development and departmental performance.
* Direct daily activities across two assigned hotel departments.
* Ensure operating standards and procedures are followed consistently.
* Lead employees while supporting the achievement of property goals.
* Remain visible and approachable to guests.
* Provide professional and courteous service at all times.
* Help employees understand changing guest needs and expectations.
* Ensure supervisors and managers understand the brand’s service culture.
* Respond promptly to customer-service department requests.
* Monitor guest feedback and coordinate appropriate service recovery.
* Implement the property emergency plan.
* Maintain a safe working environment.
* Support compliance with applicable occupational safety and chemical-handling requirements.
* Implement and sustain accident-prevention programs.
* Maintain an effective key-control process.
* Apply the property’s second-effort and recovery procedures.
* Review financial statements, sales reports and operational activity.
* Measure productivity and progress against departmental goals.
* Identify opportunities for cost reduction and program improvement.
* Guide team scheduling against occupancy, service and labor requirements.
* Use the approved scheduling tool to align staffing with demand.
* Identify and remove barriers preventing the team from achieving targets.
* Communicate guest-tracking and productivity goals clearly.

Ideal Profile
The successful candidate will be an energetic and approachable hotel leader who can manage operational detail without losing focus on guests and employees. They should be comfortable reviewing financial results, coaching teams and coordinating different departments toward shared property goals.
Candidates may qualify through either of the following routes:
* High school diploma or equivalent with at least 4 years of experience in guest services, Front Office, Housekeeping or a related professional area.
* Two-year degree from an accredited institution in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field, together with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
The preferred profile also includes:
