Job Overview
As a Procurement Executive, you will manage sourcing activities, maintain supplier relationships, and ensure timely delivery of goods while upholding Marriott\'s standards. You’ll play a key role in supporting departments by securing quality supplies at competitive prices and contributing to sustainability and cost-saving efforts.
Key Responsibilities
* Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers
* Authorize and process purchase requisitions and orders
* Liaise with vendors to obtain competitive quotations
* Maintain current market knowledge and supplier databases
* Oversee food and beverage purchasing decisions and tastings
* Participate in tender preparation and procurement analysis
* Identify new suppliers at industry exhibitions and seminars
* Recommend green procurement solutions and recycling participation
* Submit monthly cost-saving and procurement reports
Governance & Standards
* Ensure compliance with Marriott procurement policies and procedures
* Support accurate procurement documentation and tender practices
* Promote ethical sourcing, supplier diversity, and fair trade
Job Requirements
* High school diploma with 2 years in procurement, or
* 2-year degree in Business, Hotel Management, or related field with 1 year experience
* Solid negotiation and vendor management skills
* Proficiency in procurement software and reporting
* Strong communication and coordination skills
