Job Overview
The Procurement Manager will oversee all purchasing activities, ensuring cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining Marriott’s quality and operational standards. The role demands strategic thinking, vendor management expertise, and a results-driven approach aligned with hotel business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead procurement planning in coordination with hotel departments
* Identify, assess, and maintain supplier relationships for key goods and services
* Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms
* Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment processes
* Ensure compliance with internal purchasing policies and UAE regulations
* Review and approve purchase orders and requisitions
* Evaluate vendor performance and enforce quality control measures
* Work closely with Finance on budgeting and cost tracking
Governance & Standards
* Maintain audit-compliant documentation for all procurement transactions
* Promote sustainable sourcing and ethical procurement standards
* Implement internal controls and reporting systems to reduce procurement risks
Job Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or Hospitality
* 3+ years of experience in a hospitality or hotel procurement environment
* Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
* Familiarity with procurement software and inventory systems
* Fluent communication in English, both written and verbal
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
