Receiving Officer / Storekeeper - Warehouse and Inventory Operations (SO/ by Accor Dubai)

SO/ Dubai is seeking a reliable and detail-focused Receiving Officer / Storekeeper to manage the daily receipt, inspection, and distribution of goods within our warehouse facility. This full-time role is ideal for professionals with strong inventory control experience and a structured approach to supply chain support. You’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate records, ensuring efficient stock movement, and supporting the luxury service standards that define the SO/ brand.

Main Responsibilities

* Receive, inspect, and document all incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and identifying any damage
* Maintain updated inventory records using inventory management systems and digital tools
* Organize storage areas to maximize space utilization and streamline access to frequently used items
* Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers for timely deliveries and dispatch
* Conduct regular inventory checks, cycle counts, and stock reconciliations
* Prepare documentation for shipments, returns, and stock movements
* Enforce compliance with warehouse health and safety standards
* Operate forklifts or material handling equipment when needed (certification preferred)
* Train new team members in receiving and stock procedures
* Support logistics initiatives to optimize workflow, reduce delays, and control inventory costs

Candidate Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in logistics is a plus
* Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations
* Familiar with inventory systems, barcode scanners, and RFID technologies
* Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
* Physically capable of lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs
* Good organizational and record-keeping skills
* Forklift certification or Warehouse Management certification preferred
* Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
* Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require
