Role Context
The Senior Manager - Hospitality Projects will manage
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day delivery of hospitality assets across planning, design, procurement, construction, and delivery stages.
* Monitor project performance across cost, programme, quality, scope, risk, and stakeholder requirements.
* Use project controls to identify issues, assess data, challenge outcomes, and drive corrective actions.
* Lead project governance and reporting by preparing structured submissions, progress updates, decision papers, and performance summaries.
* Translate project data into clear insights and recommendations that support timely decisions across key milestones.
* Coordinate consultants, contractors, hotel operators, internal teams, delivery partners, project management consultants, and external stakeholders.
* Manage interfaces, dependencies, project actions, decisions, approvals, and follow-up items to maintain delivery momentum.
* Develop and maintain project management plans, project programmes, coordination trackers, issue logs, risk registers, and action trackers.
* Support alignment between project objectives, design intent, operator requirements, commercial targets, construction deliverables, and delivery timelines.
* Coordinate with hotel operators to ensure operational requirements, brand standards, and guest experience considerations are understood and addressed.
* Review project progress and identify risks related to design development, procurement, approvals, construction readiness, cost, scope, or quality.
* Support resolution of technical, commercial, programme, and stakeholder-related issues in coordination with project teams.
* Track project milestones, deliverables, submissions, reviews, approvals, dependencies, and open decisions.
* Work with consultants and contractors to ensure project outputs are coordinated, compliant, and aligned with required quality standards.
* Support procurement and delivery planning by monitoring package readiness, long-lead items, design dependencies, and stakeholder approvals.
* Prepare clear reports, dashboards, presentations, and management updates for senior project stakeholders.
* Maintain organized project records covering decisions, actions, risks, meetings, approvals, correspondence, and performance data.
* Promote continuous improvement in project management processes, reporting quality, coordination methods, and delivery discipline.
* Support a collaborative project environment by keeping stakeholders aligned and ensuring issues are addressed promptly.
* Operate effectively in a fast-paced project setting with shifting priorities, complex interfaces, and tight deadlines.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or a related discipline.
* Master’s degree is preferred.
* Professional certification or chartered status such as PMP, MRICS, MCIOB, CEng, RIBA, or equivalent is preferred.
* Minimum 15 years of experience in project management or construction management on major real estate, hospitality, infrastructure, mixed-use, or large-scale development projects.
* Minimum 5-7 years of client-side or developer-side experience in major project environments.
* Strong understanding of project delivery, project controls, governance, reporting, cost monitoring, schedule tracking, scope control, quality management, and risk management.
* Experience delivering hospitality assets and coordinating with hotel operators is preferred.
* Experience across the full project lifecycle from planning through design, procurement, construction, and delivery.
* Experience working with consultants, contractors, suppliers, delivery partners, project management consultants, and government authorities.
* Experience in Saudi Arabia, GCC, or similar large-scale development environments is preferred.
* Able to coordinate complex stakeholders and manage multiple workstreams at the same time.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and recommend practical actions.
* Clear communication skills with the ability to prepare reports, presentations, and stakeholder updates.
* Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and high delivery expectations.
* Proficient in project management and reporting tools such as Primavera P6, Aconex, and equivalent systems.
* Organized, proactive, adaptable, and focused on closing actions, maintaining momentum, and supporting project outcomes.
