Position Overview
Jumeirah Mina Al Salam is seeking a professional and guest-focused Senior Waiter/Waitress to join the Shimmers team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences, ensuring high service standards, and managing daily section operations in a luxury hospitality environment.

What You’ll Do
* Welcome and seat guests warmly, providing detailed information on menu items and specials.
* Handle guest inquiries regarding ingredients, preparation methods, and dietary requirements.
* Recommend food and beverage options, take accurate orders, and manage special requests.
* Process payments through the MICROS system, ensuring accurate billing and handling of multiple payment methods.
* Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and efficient order delivery.
* Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards while preparing and organizing service areas.
* Collect guest feedback and ensure service excellence at every stage of the dining experience.
Ideal Profile
* 1–2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury 5-star property or high-end restaurant.
* Proficiency in English; additional languages such as Russian or other European languages are an advantage.
* Knowledge of MICROS, Sevenrooms, and MS Office applications.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
