Jumeirah Al Qasr is looking for a skilled Sous Chef to join its world-class culinary team at Madinat Jumeirah. This role is ideal for a passionate chef with strong leadership skills, creativity, and a commitment to delivering luxury dining experiences. What You’ll Do
* Prepare and present high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes, plating standards, and seasonal ingredients
* Ensure strict adherence to food hygiene, cleanliness, and waste management protocols
* Assist in maintaining service and food preparation standards aligned with Jumeirah Group’s global quality benchmarks
* Supervise kitchen operations in coordination with the Executive Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine
* Contribute to the development of new menus, incorporating culinary innovation and luxury dining trends
* Support training and development of junior chefs to ensure consistent service and high morale across the team
Ideal Profile
* Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent qualification from an accredited culinary institution
* Completed kitchen apprenticeship and formal chef training
* Extensive knowledge of classical and international cuisines
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant
* Fluent in English with strong communication and team leadership skills
* Creative, quality-focused, and results-driven professional
