Position Overview
Jumeirah Al Qasr, part of the prestigious Madinat Jumeirah Resort, is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join its culinary team. This role involves preparing world-class cuisine, leading kitchen operations, and ensuring exceptional dining experiences in line with Jumeirah’s luxury standards.

What You’ll Do
* Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to recipes and standards.
* Ensure proper hygienic handling, cleaning, and waste disposal procedures.
* Assist the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine in maintaining service and food standards.
* Communicate operational issues and support smooth kitchen management.
* Contribute to the creation of seasonal menus and innovative culinary concepts.
* Lead and train kitchen staff to maintain quality and efficiency.
Ideal Profile
* Degree in Culinary Arts or similar qualification from a recognized culinary school.
* Completed formal kitchen apprenticeship and chef training.
* Strong knowledge of classical and modern international cuisine.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurants.
* Proficiency in English and strong leadership skills.
