Sous Chef - Main Kitchen
Job Overview
Jumeirah Al Qasr is seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join its Main Kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity for a UAE National culinary professional to play a key role in maintaining five-star standards across the hotel’s diverse dining operations.
Job Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Job Overview
The Sous Chef will lead kitchen operations and ensure food quality, team performance, and guest satisfaction. This role requires hands-on supervision, recipe development, staff scheduling, and coordination with internal teams to meet culinary standards across all dining venues at Jumeirah Al Qasr.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and guide kitchen staff to uphold Jumeirah’s high culinary standards
* Assist in menu planning, recipe creation, food tasting, and kitchen meetings
* Prepare product specifications and maintain accurate standard recipes
* Manage team schedules, leave, overtime, and daily attendance adjustments
* Collaborate with the stewarding team to uphold hygiene and cleanliness
* Train and motivate kitchen team members, ensuring efficient kitchen operations
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and HACCP protocols
Job Requirements
* UAE National with a Family Book as per legal requirement
* At least 2 years of experience in a similar position in a 5-star hotel or upscale restaurant
* Diploma in Catering or Culinary Arts; Food Safety certification is a plus
* Fluent in English, both spoken and written
* Knowledge of kitchen operations software such as Opera PMS (Cloud), HotSoS, and Microsoft Office
