Jumeirah Al Qasr is looking for a talented Sous Chef – Pastry to join its culinary team. This role focuses on producing world-class pastry creations while ensuring operational excellence, food safety, and innovation in line with Jumeirah’s luxury standards.

What You’ll Do
* Prepare and cook high-quality pastry items according to menu specifications and hygiene standards.
* Support senior chefs in maintaining food quality and service standards across operations.
* Contribute to seasonal menu planning with creative and innovative pastry ideas.
* Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and hygiene guidelines at all times.
* Oversee pastry team operations, provide training, and uphold best practices.
* Monitor inventory, reduce waste, and maintain cost control measures.
Ideal Profile
* At least 5 years of experience in pastry kitchens, preferably within luxury hospitality.
* Culinary degree from an accredited culinary school.
* Expertise in pastry techniques, presentation, and global culinary trends.
* Strong leadership and communication skills with an eye for detail.
* Ability to manage a team in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
