Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and execute high-quality pastry items according to menu specifications and hygiene standards
* Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and food safety regulations at all times
* Collaborate with senior chefs on menu creation, seasonal offerings, and specialty desserts
* Supervise and mentor pastry staff, promoting a culture of skill development and excellence
* Uphold Jumeirah’s commitment to innovation, taste, and visual appeal in every dessert prepared
* Monitor and manage stock levels, food costs, and equipment maintenance in the pastry section

Job Requirements

* Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or Pastry from a recognized institution
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant setting
* Strong expertise in classical and contemporary pastry techniques and trends
* Skilled in recipe development, food costing, and kitchen operations
* Proven ability to lead and inspire a team under pressure while maintaining high quality
