Voco™ Hotels, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is looking for a Stewarding Manager to oversee stewarding operations at its Dubai property. The role ensures hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation across all food preparation areas, while managing stewarding staff, inventory, and compliance with safety standards.

What You’ll Do
* Supervise day-to-day operations of the stewarding department, including scheduling, performance management, and staff training.
* Develop and implement departmental policies to meet cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards.
* Conduct regular inspections of kitchens, dishwashing areas, and storage facilities to maintain sanitation and regulatory compliance.
* Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and utensils, coordinating replenishments with procurement.

Ensure dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment are maintained and serviced on time.
* Collaborate with culinary and banquet teams to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow.
* Train stewards on safe cleaning practices, PPE usage, and emergency procedures.
* Investigate and report accidents, incidents, or health violations, implementing corrective actions.
* Maintain accurate documentation of sanitation practices, schedules, and training records.
Ideal Profile
* Strong knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP) and sanitation practices.
* Culinary operations understanding, including equipment handling and kitchen workflows.
* Experience in menu support, food handling, and basic culinary expertise is an advantage.
* Skilled in inventory and cost control, reducing wastage, and maintaining stock efficiency.
* Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Ability to work long hours in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
* Professional, reliable, and committed to service excellence.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments.
