Position Overview
Jumeirah Al Qasr is seeking an experienced Room Care Technician to ensure all guest rooms, suites, and related areas maintain the highest standards of functionality and comfort. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.
What You’ll Do
* Review and resolve room care complaints promptly, using appropriate tools and techniques.
* Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on furniture, fixtures, fittings, and minor electrical or plumbing components.
* Handle guest inquiries courteously and deliver quick, effective solutions to ensure a superior guest experience.
* Complete work orders, maintain accurate logs, and report issues requiring major repairs to supervisors.
* Follow safety standards and proper use of tools and materials, maintaining compliance with hotel policies.
* Support the engineering team in executing scheduled maintenance programs to ensure operational efficiency.
Ideal Profile
* 1–2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury 5-star property; UAE experience preferred.
* Secondary education required; vocational or trade certification is highly desirable.
* Strong technical skills across electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks.
* Basic computer literacy and knowledge of building safety standards.
* Good English communication skills and ability to work independently.
