About the Role
As a VIP Hostess at FZN by Bjorn Frantzen, you will welcome guests from the moment they arrive and help shape their first impression of the restaurant.
The position requires natural conversation, attentive service and the
ability to remain organized in a fast-paced luxury dining environment. You will work closely with the restaurant team to coordinate guest arrivals and seating while maintaining a warm and professional experience.
Guest Welcome and Seating
* Greet guests promptly and professionally upon arrival.
* Create a positive first impression through attentive and personalized interaction.
* Inform guests of expected waiting times when applicable.
* Monitor and manage the restaurant waiting list.
* Escort guests to their tables.
* Maintain effective communication throughout the arrival and seating process.
* Bid guests a warm farewell when they leave the restaurant.
VIP Guest Experience
A natural and confident approach to guest interaction is central to this position. You will use strong communication and customer service skills to engage guests appropriately while supporting the refined service standards expected within a high-end restaurant.
You should be comfortable handling multiple guest requirements while maintaining composure, efficiency and attention to detail during busy service periods.
Team Collaboration
The VIP Hostess works as part of the wider restaurant team, coordinating effectively with colleagues to support smooth guest flow and dining operations.
Success in the role requires a positive team approach, efficient communication and the ability to adapt quickly within a fast-paced food and beverage environment.
About You
International exposure in a similar position is preferred. Alternatively, candidates should have approximately two years of experience within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant environment.
Excellent communication skills are essential, together with a polished guest-service approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Training and Development
The role provides access to internal and external training designed to strengthen service skills and develop food and beverage knowledge. Ongoing guidance and leadership support will help you continue building your capabilities within luxury restaurant operations.
