Job Overview
As a Waiter/Waitress at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, you will play a vital role in creating elevated dining experiences for our guests. This position requires professional service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, luxury environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Greet guests with professionalism, guide them to their tables, and assist with menu selections
* Accurately input orders into the POS system and coordinate with kitchen and bar teams
* Deliver food and beverages efficiently, maintaining Jumeirah’s luxury service standards
* Prepare tables with clean linens, glassware, and silverware, ensuring a polished setup
* Respond promptly to guest requests, resolve concerns, and escalate issues when necessary
* Uphold hygiene and safety protocols throughout service areas
* Support smooth operations by maintaining cleanliness and readiness in the service zone
Job Requirements
* 1–2 years of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant
* Excellent communication skills; English is required, additional languages (e.g., Russian or European) are a plus
* Familiarity with POS systems, including Micros and Sevenrooms
* Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset
* Ability to work under pressure and as part of a multicultural team
