Global Mobility Specialist - Dubai Job Vacancy in UAE Dubai
Oliver Wyman is now looking to recruit a Global Mobility Specialist to join our Middle-East office and be part of our IMEA team!
The role will be based out of Dubai or Abu Dhabi office.
Fluency (reading, writing, speaking) in both Arabic and English is essential for the role.
Job Overview:
The Global Mobility Specialist provides support to the Global Mobility Manager on a diverse range of activities including day-to-day immigration and relocation matters.
General activities include advising and assisting internal clients on visa and work permit processing, as well as assisting employees through the process of international transfers between Oliver Wyman offices.
The Global Mobility Specialist will also closely cooperate with HC teams on managing the immigration processes for the employees in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Immigration:
Advise Talent Management and Recruiting Teams on immigration processes and permits required for international project staffing and hiring internationally. This also includes proactively staying up to date on restrictions, challenges, and changes to existing processes, advising teams of potential impact on project staffing and implementing alternative solutions as and where required.
Administer immigration programmes and work permit processes as required. Generate documentation associated with visa and work permit applications including but not limited to, invitation letters, business introduction letters, travel insurance certifications and general travel letters and salary certificates. This also requires close collaboration with team colleagues across regions.
Support employees/candidates through the process of visa application by providing information of the visa being applied for, process steps, documents required, visa fees and key information.
Monitor systematic changes to visa processes and ensure that Oliver Wyman standard templates are updated to reflect any changes.
Coordinate relations between Oliver Wyman employees and service providers, assist with special projects, administrative duties, and support day-to-day requests such as letters, advice, and processes.
IMEA database:
Input all data into the team?s internal Immigration and Relocation Database on SharePoint and ensure data integrity is maintained.
Closely cooperate with the HC Operations team to ensure visa files are in good order and up to date.
Monitor expiry dates of visas and work permits and proactively contact applicant to see whether a renewal may be required.
Provide mobility-related information and generate regular reports for Oliver Wyman teams upon request.
Relocation:
Coordinate the approval process for international transfers in close collaboration with Talent Management
Support the IMEA Global Mobility manager in producing the transfer paperwork and act as main point of contact for relocating employees, liaising with other parts of the business as needed (HC Operations, Talent Management etc.)
Administer enrolment for relocation benefits (Tax assistance, relocation support) and liaise with the vendors as needed.
Experience Required:
While specific responsibilities will vary based on previous experience, the ideal candidate will have the following:
Minimum degree/experience requirement: Bachelor?s degree and 2-3 year of experience in a professional environment; OR 3-4 years of experience in a professional environment.
Previous Global Mobility, Immigration or Human Resource experience is preferable, but strong client service experience from another sector will be considered.
Experience working as part of an international team.
Ability to speak and write Arabic and English fluently
