Based in Dubai, this role is responsible for shaping and executing a global logistics strategy tailored to the chemicals industry, driving innovation, end-to-end solution development, and supporting global key account teams with deep sector expertise.

What Does a Global Senior Manager – Chemical Logistics Do?
- Develop and implement a vertical strategy aligned with global trends and best practices in chemical supply chain management
- Act as the sector lead for analyzing logistics data and crafting tailored end-to-end logistics solutions
- Collaborate with solution engineering teams to develop commercially viable and technically sound products
- Provide technical guidance and insight to global key account management teams in support of client engagement
- Promote thought leadership by organizing training sessions, webinars, and customer-facing events
- Represent DP World at industry forums, highlighting its unique vertical logistics capabilities
- Coordinate with marketing to develop communication materials that position DP World as a market leader in chemical logistics
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Own the vertical strategy for chemical logistics and continuously adapt it to market shifts
- Identify growth opportunities, service gaps, and innovation potential in the chemicals supply chain
- Support internal stakeholders with data insights and modeling to improve operational outcomes
- Engage in customer strategy sessions to design logistics frameworks suited to their chemical flows
- Lead global learning initiatives and represent DP World in conferences and thought leadership platforms
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to optimize integrated logistics platforms across transport, warehousing, and compliance functions
What Skills Are Needed for a Global Logistics Manager in the Chemicals Sector?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field; MBA preferred
Experience:
- At least 10 years of experience in chemical supply chain, logistics strategy, or vertical solution development
- Proven success in designing and executing sector-focused logistics strategies globally
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams in dynamic logistics environments
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using large datasets for supply chain modeling and decision-making
- Strong understanding of Lean methodology, continuous improvement, and chemical safety requirements
- Familiarity with logistics systems such as TMS, WMS, and ERP tools
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communicator with the ability to present complex logistics strategies clearly
