Role Context
The HR Intern will
Key Responsibilities
* Update company HR databases by entering new employee records and maintaining accurate employee information.
* Assist HR staff with filling, checking, organizing, and filing employment forms and related HR documents.
* Support basic HR administration tasks connected to onboarding records, employee files, benefits queries, and internal HR coordination.
* Help organize company events, employee engagement activities, team gatherings, and related administrative arrangements.
* Respond to HR team requests and support routine Human Resources matters in a timely and professional manner.
* Assist with employee benefits-related coordination by collecting information, updating records, and routing queries to the appropriate HR team member.
* Maintain confidentiality when handling employee information, personal records, internal forms, and HR-related documentation.
* Support document tracking, record updates, spreadsheet maintenance, and administrative follow-up for HR activities.
* Coordinate with internal employees and HR colleagues to obtain missing details, complete forms, and maintain clean records.
* Prepare simple HR summaries, lists, and updates using Microsoft Office tools when required.
* Help ensure HR files and records are organized, easy to retrieve, and aligned with internal procedures.
* Learn and follow company HR processes, workplace communication standards, and professional conduct expectations.
* Perform additional HR administrative and employee support tasks assigned by the HR team.
Ideal Profile
* Currently enrolled in Human Resources or another relevant curriculum at an accredited college or university.
* Interest in building a career in Human Resources, employee support, HR administration, or people operations.
* Able to work independently on assigned tasks while asking for guidance when needed.
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications for basic documentation, spreadsheets, emails, and presentations.
* Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with HR colleagues and employees.
* Strong English writing and speaking skills are required.
* Organized, detail-focused, and able to handle routine administrative work accurately.
* Able to maintain confidentiality and act with professionalism when working with employee information.
