Emirates Flight Training is a modern, progressive department that utilises Competency Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) methodology in all our courses and is one of the few full Evidence Based Training (EBT) operators worldwide. Through continuous professional development and standardisation, you can expect to be trained and developed in the most up to date training methodologies to ensure you meet the exacting standards required by Emirates.

The Human Factors Specialist will manage the Crew Resource Management (CRM) / Human Factors (HF) training content/resources to ensure best practice CRM/HF Training is delivered in compliance with GCAA and IOSA regulations.

In this role, you will:

Develop new and update existing CRM/HF course material and ensure version control and accessibility, as well as that the HF/CRM training complies with GCAA, EASA and other relevant regulatory and industry requirements and standards, including industry best practice.
Organise Trainers/Instructors to ensure regulatory recognition and recency, as well as to develop CRM/HF subject knowledge and instructional techniques, with the aim of ensuring effective delivery and integration of HF/CRM training throughout all relevant training programmes.
Promote effective HF/CRM across all Trainer/Instructor groups, including feedback, cooperation, leadership and mentoring.
Conduct Human Factors sessions with the aim of supporting and developing performance.
Monitor and analyse CRM/HF course evaluation data to validate the quality of course material and delivery. Propose improvements and development of course material and instructional techniques.
Coordinate and cooperate with other parts of the organisation to develop and deliver effective CRM/HF training. Promote third-party interest in CRM/HF courses. Cooperate with Flight Safety in regards to safety reporting, investigation of safety-related events and other projects.
Conduct CRM/HF studies and contribute to internal and external publications as well as conduct projects, tasks and administrative duties as required.
Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

8+ years Flight Operations experience.
A Degree preferably in the field of Human Factors in Aviation.
Experience in training within the Human Factors field, with at least two years of airline experience relevant to Emirates/EFTA operations.
Experience in delivering CRM Training.
Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
Remain current with developments to industry best practice in CRM/HF training and with research in the field of Human Factors.
