What Does a Junior HR Business Partner Do?

As a Junior HRBP, you will act as a trusted advisor and coach to senior management, supporting human capital strategies that drive performance, engagement, and organizational development. You’ll be hands-on in driving workforce optimization, employee relations, talent development, and culture enhancement initiatives in line with Al-Futtaim’s values of respect, collaboration, excellence, and integrity.

What Are the Key Responsibilities?

- Collaborate with business heads and Group HR to create and implement strategic HR plans
- Drive employee engagement by fostering a performance-focused and meritocratic culture
- Support the onboarding process, succession planning, and leadership development
- Manage employee relations and provide guidance to line managers on HR policies and UAE labor laws
- Coordinate and track learning and development initiatives in alignment with business needs
- Facilitate workforce restructuring, manpower planning, and Emiratization efforts
- Monitor HR metrics, including headcount, costs, and performance indicators
- Promote diversity, inclusion, and adherence to organizational values across all teams

What Skills Are Needed for a Junior HR Business Partner in Dubai?

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Management
- CIPD qualification preferred

Experience:
- 3+ years of HR generalist experience in a structured HR department
- Proven understanding of UAE labor regulations and employee engagement strategies

Skills:
- Arabic language proficiency highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to handle change management, performance management, and organizational development
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and digital proficiency in HR tools
- Capable of managing sensitive issues with integrity and discretion
