Position Overview
The AI and Data Science Strategy Manager will lead the development and execution of strategic and operational plans for artificial intelligence and data science across the Roads and Transport Authority. This role ensures alignment with RTA’s objectives and the UAE’s Artificial Intelligence Strategy, driving integration of data analytics into decision-making while promoting governance, innovation, and institutional competitiveness.

What You’ll Do
* Manage and implement AI and data science strategies and operational plans in line with RTA and UAE AI objectives.
* Facilitate integration of data analytics into corporate decision-making by developing roadmaps and prioritizing initiatives.
* Monitor execution of AI projects and ensure adherence to governance, financial, and operational best practices.
* Represent the department at national meetings, providing strategic and technical insights on AI and data science.
* Oversee development of feasibility studies, scenario modeling, and ROI analysis for AI initiatives.
* Monitor and improve data quality and governance to support effective AI and machine learning solutions.
* Supervise periodic reviews of international studies and update governance frameworks as required.
* Ensure preparation of comprehensive reports and performance indicators to track implementation progress.
* Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to align AI initiatives with institutional goals.
Ideal Profile
* Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related discipline.
* Minimum 11 years of experience in AI, data science, or strategic technology planning.
* Strong understanding of governance frameworks, feasibility studies, and ROI analysis.
* Proven expertise in AI strategy development and implementation.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
