The Project
As part of a groundbreaking 2040 strategy aimed at fostering cultural and artistic innovation, a state-of-the-art arts and culture center is under construction. This facility will feature F&B outlets, a cinema, and art clubs, offering a vibrant cultural experience under one roof. We are looking for a driven and forward-thinking Assistant Information Manager to join our expanding team in Oman.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement Information Management (IM) strategies, standards (including ISO 19650), and processes for projects and programs
- Establish and lead the IM function for projects, ensuring compliance with set standards and processes
- Train project teams on IM practices and foster continuous improvement
- Manage quality assurance of documents and ensure proper storage of project artefacts
- Provide leadership and support to the IM team, including direct and indirect reports
- Contribute to the digital center of excellence by enhancing knowledge, processes, and case studies
- Assist in the development of IM strategies for bids and proposals
- Oversee the setup, implementation, and development of the Common Data Environment (CDE)
- Collaborate on achieving net zero carbon goals by identifying and managing carbon reduction initiatives in project delivery
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Information Systems or a related field
- Technical certifications in IM (e.g., APM IM, Association of Information Managers)
- Expertise in IM software, including Aconex, ViewPoint, Business Collaborator, SharePoint
- Proficiency in Revit and Solibri for model assurance
- Strong understanding of information architecture, naming conventions, numbering, and ISO 19650 standards
- Proven experience in managing IM across multiple projects and programs
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Power BI for data analysis and reporting
- Hands-on experience in setting up and managing IM and document control processes
- Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 series and CDE management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled negotiator with experience managing stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Well-organized, with the capability to manage multiple tasks and clarify objectives for others
- Experience in training and mentoring teams in IM practices
