Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer with expertise in Python and AI agent systems to design and implement advanced backend architectures for AI-powered solutions. This fully remote contract role focuses on building production-grade systems that integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) using frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph.

Position Overview
As a Backend Engineer, you will develop scalable backend services and APIs that power LLM-driven workflows, including RAG pipelines and AI orchestration systems. You will collaborate with research and engineering teams to deliver intelligent, high-performance applications suitable for real-world deployment.
What You’ll Do
* Design and develop robust backend services and REST APIs using Python.
* Build scalable AI workflows integrating LLMs for intelligent system orchestration.
* Implement agent-based architectures using LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks.
* Ensure system reliability through observability, logging, and fault-tolerance mechanisms.
* Deploy and maintain production-grade services optimized for scalability and performance.
Ideal Profile
* 5+ years of experience in backend or full-stack development with backend focus.
* Strong proficiency in Python and microservice architecture.
* Proven experience integrating LLMs and building AI-driven workflows.
* Knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, and RAG pipelines.
* Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based deployment.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for distributed teams.
