BI Specialist – Dubai, UAEPosition Overview
The BI Specialist – Dubai, UAE will design, develop, and manage business intelligence solutions across multiple platforms. The role requires expertise in visualization tools, ETL/integration, and data storage systems, with the ability to support hybrid on-premise and cloud BI ecosystems. Candidates should bring strong data modeling, governance, and domain knowledge to align BI initiatives with organizational goals.

What You’ll Do
* Develop and optimize dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, and SAP BO
* Integrate multiple data sources into Microsoft Power BI across on-premise and cloud environments
* Perform data modeling, transformation, and KPI dashboard development
* Apply advanced visualization techniques and storytelling to present business insights
* Ensure data governance, security, and row-level security
controls are implemented
* Publish, share, and manage reports on Power BI Service and Embedded environments
* Connect Power BI to Hadoop Data Lake, Oracle Exadata, SQL Server, Azure, Excel, and APIs
* Work with ETL tools including SAP Data Integrator and Informatica for ingestion and transformation
* Support reporting for Oracle Fusion ERP and Student Information Systems
* Optimize BI performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability
Ideal Profile
* 5–7 years of experience in BI and data visualization roles
* Proficient in Power BI, Tableau, and SAP BO dashboarding
* Expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), and performance scorecard design
* Strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and integration methods
* Hands-on with SAP Data Integrator and Informatica tools
* Experience embedding Power BI in applications and working with cloud BI options
* Knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP reporting and student systems is preferred
* Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
