Change and Release Analyst

Join Dicetek in Dubai as a Change and Release Analyst and play a critical role in ensuring seamless IT change and release management while minimizing business disruptions. This position is ideal for professionals with strong ITIL expertise and a background in Agile methodologies, DevOps, and automated deployment tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Change Management:

- Ensure all Change Requests follow the defined Change Management process, including assessment, approval, scheduling, and review.
- Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, conducting risk assessments and impact analysis for proposed changes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to categorize and prioritize changes based on business impact and urgency.
- Maintain compliance with IT governance policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Manage the Change Schedule to minimize conflicts and align with business operations.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews (PIRs) and document lessons learned for continuous improvement.
- Maintain Change Management documentation, KPIs, and reports.

Release Management:

- Plan, coordinate, and oversee software/application releases, patches, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Ensure releases are bundled, tested, and deployed in line with the organization\'s release strategy.
- Work closely with DevOps, Infrastructure, QA, and Change teams to facilitate smooth release planning and execution.
- Maintain the Release Calendar, ensuring alignment with business needs and minimizing disruptions.
- Validate release readiness, ensuring all pre- and post-deployment activities are successfully completed.
- Implement automated deployment tools and DevOps practices where applicable.

Technical Skills:

- Strong understanding of ITIL v3 and ITIL v4 Change & Release Management principles.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with Change and Release Management tools and ITSM platforms.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and automated deployment tools, particularly within Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with incident, problem, and service management processes.
- Strong risk assessment and impact analysis capabilities in IT change and release management.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple changes/releases simultaneously.
- Collaborative mindset for working effectively with cross-functional teams.
