What You’ll Do
* Define and execute the retail data and AI strategy to support growth, operational efficiency, and innovation
* Identify AI-enabled opportunities that contribute to revenue expansion, cost optimization, and value creation
* Align strategic business goals with data programs and ensure delivery of measurable outcomes
* Guide the deployment of AI-powered services and analytics products across retail functions
* Act as the bridge between data teams and business leaders to drive stakeholder alignment and adoption
* Lead a portfolio of data and AI programs, managing cross-functional dependencies
* Champion data governance, regulatory compliance, and ethical use of AI technologies
* Foster a culture of data literacy and innovation across the organization
* Stay ahead of emerging AI and data technologies and advise on their business application
Ideal Profile
* 12–15 years of experience in data strategy, analytics, or digital transformation roles
* At least 5 years in a senior leadership position within a large-scale enterprise
* Experience in retail or complex, multi-vertical environments is highly preferred
* Master’s degree in data science, economics, business administration, or a related field
* Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide AI and data transformation programs
* Deep understanding of value drivers in retail and how data enhances performance
* Familiarity with modern AI technologies including machine learning, generative AI, and LLMs
* Experience building and managing data governance frameworks and ensuring compliance
* Strong stakeholder management, change leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills
* Background in working with marketing, finance, operations, and technology teams
