Job Overview
As a Solution Architect Senior Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor to Deloitte Consulting and engagement leadership, overseeing large-scale, high-risk engagements within the public, private, or financial services sectors. You will conduct independent reviews, ensure effective governance, and drive strategic decision-making on critical engagements. This role requires strong commercial acumen, risk assessment capabilities, and the ability to communicate complex architectural solutions to senior executives and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead independent reviews of solution architecture, infrastructure sizing, and security for large-scale digital transformation projects
- Assess solution delivery models, project timelines, governance structures, and dependencies on third-party providers
- Ensure solution architecture compliance with best practices, including application, security, integration, data, UI/UX, and hosting considerations
- Evaluate and validate software licensing agreements, infrastructure requirements, and enterprise-wide technology roadmaps
- Provide expert guidance on RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed) models and business case assessments
- Collaborate with senior executives, project managers, and legal teams to mitigate risks and improve engagement deal economics
- Support partners in Strategic Review Boards (SRB) for high-impact transformation engagements
- Develop and implement risk management strategies, ensuring contract compliance and operational excellence
- Contribute to the development of Deloitte’s digital banking and enterprise architecture capabilities
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor\'s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Law, IT Architecture, or related fields
- Extensive experience in solution architecture, enterprise technology governance, and risk management
- Strong commercial understanding of deal economics, contract risks, and profitability levers in consulting engagements
- Ability to evaluate, structure, and articulate complex contractual details to project teams and stakeholders
- Experience in consulting partnerships, IT strategy, or enterprise architecture within a large-scale business environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-risk engagements and manage client relationships with procurement, finance, and legal teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Essential: Experience in digital banking and enterprise architecture solutions
