DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure and Automation
Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to manage and enhance our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD automation pipelines. This role is ideal for professionals with deep experience in Kubernetes, DevSecOps, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. You will play a critical role in ensuring the security, scalability, and efficiency of our development and deployment processes while supporting high-availability systems across diverse environments. This is a full-time position based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with opportunities to work on cutting-edge platforms and contribute to internal open-source tools.

What You’ll Do
* Design, implement, and manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines across multiple platforms including Kubernetes, API gateways, databases, Android, iOS, and web apps
* Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure seamless, secure deployments and system reliability
* Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure, with a focus on scalability, performance tuning, and cost optimization
* Automate system provisioning, configuration, and deployment using infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar)
* Develop monitoring solutions and custom dashboards to provide observability across environments
* Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and integration issues in production and staging environments
* Implement robust backup and disaster recovery strategies
* Maintain and evolve DevSecOps practices including code signing, compliance pipelines, and secure secrets management
* Contribute to open-source tools and enhance them for internal usage
* Document infrastructure architecture, processes, and best practices clearly and effectively
Ideal Profile
* Proven track record managing scalable, high-availability infrastructure systems
* Advanced experience in Kubernetes architecture, container orchestration, and networking (IP, TCP, UDP, HTTP, etc.)
* Solid hands-on expertise in CI/CD tools with compliance-driven pipeline designs
* Strong command of scripting with Bash and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, Kotlin, JavaScript)
* Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and cryptographic standards such as AES, RSA, TLS
* Strong understanding of Git workflows and collaborative version control
* Hands-on experience with monitoring tools for logs, metrics, and tracing (e.g., ELK, Prometheus, Grafana)
* Experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or equivalent
