Role Context
The Document Reviewer will provide a human quality-control layer for a project where accuracy, confidentiality and reliable transformation of sensitive information are essential. The work requires more than identifying obvious errors; reviewers must examine documents methodically, recognize potentially exposed or incorrectly handled PII and determine whether transformed content meets established quality expectations.
Clear documentation of findings is equally important. Each identified issue should be supported by understandable reasoning so project teams can distinguish isolated errors from recurring data quality or privacy problems and improve the reliability of downstream results.
Key Responsibilities
* Review transformed documents containing Personally Identifiable Information for accuracy, completeness and consistency.
* Perform structured spot-checks to detect information that may have been missed, incorrectly transformed or inconsistently handled.
* Identify and flag potential PII exposure, privacy concerns, formatting problems and data integrity issues.
* Compare document content carefully against applicable review and validation requirements.
* Record identified defects using clear descriptions that allow project teams to understand the nature of each issue.
* Provide concise rationale and supporting reasoning when classifying or reporting review findings.
* Answer qualitative questions arising during document validation and quality-control tasks.
* Examine large volumes of information methodically while maintaining consistent review standards.
* Recognize patterns that may indicate recurring transformation, privacy or data quality failures.
* Escalate ambiguous cases where requirements or issue classifications require clarification.
* Work with project coordinators to resolve uncertainties and maintain consistent interpretation of review criteria.
* Apply appropriate care when handling confidential, regulated or personally identifiable information.
* Maintain accuracy during repetitive review work without compromising attention to detail.
* Support overall quality assurance by helping improve the reliability, privacy and integrity of processed documents.
Ideal Profile
Candidates should bring experience in document review, data validation, quality assurance, auditing or another role requiring careful examination of detailed information. Previous work involving PII, confidential records or regulated documents is particularly valuable.
A practical understanding of data privacy principles and responsible handling of sensitive information is preferred. Experience performing spot-checks or auditing large datasets would also support success in this contractor position.
