We are looking for a detail-oriented IT Asset Officer to manage, track, and optimize IT hardware and software assets across the organization. This role involves maintaining asset accuracy, ensuring compliance with IT policies, and supporting lifecycle management from procurement to disposal. What You’ll Do
* Maintain and update IT asset inventory, covering both hardware and software records.
* Support the entire IT asset lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.
* Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders for asset delivery, tagging, and record accuracy.
* Ensure compliance with IT asset management policies, software licenses, and regulatory requirements.
* Assist in periodic audits and reconciliation of IT assets.
* Monitor and report on asset utilization, movement, and end-of-life status.
* Provide accurate asset data to support budgeting and forecasting.
* Maintain ITAM documentation and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data handling.
* Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools and asset management systems.
* Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
* Knowledge of IT asset lifecycle processes and compliance requirements.
* Good communication and coordination skills to work with vendors and cross-functional teams.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
