IT Support Engineer – Infrastructure & On-Site Support Dubai
Dicetek is hiring an IT Support Engineer for a key client project in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing on-site and remote IT support, handling infrastructure requirements, and coordinating implementation of business systems across multiple locations. Candidates must have strong technical troubleshooting skills and a valid UAE driving license with access to a car.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver first-line IT support for hardware and software issues via on-site and remote assistance in coordination with the central IT helpdesk
* Coordinate with network engineers to manage network access and implement required changes based on business needs
* Liaise with external suppliers and vendors to resolve technical issues as per SLAs
* Assist in the implementation and rollout of IT business applications across all client departments
* Collect and analyze IT requirements from business units and draft preliminary reports
* Contribute to a knowledge database by documenting frequent issues and resolutions to improve internal IT response capabilities
* Maintain and update monthly inventory of all IT hardware and assets across the company
* Carry out preventive maintenance of IT equipment to avoid disruptions and ensure continuity of operations
* Support team members in resolving operational IT issues and provide technical oversight
* Monitor, reconcile, and manage licenses for email accounts and enterprise systems
* Gather and document infrastructure requirements for new office setups or changes to existing environments, including BoQ, service request forms, cabling, devices, and connectivity
* Ensure cybersecurity protocols are followed and that systems and data remain secure and private
Job Requirements
Education
* Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience
* 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in IT support roles, preferably in UAE
Skills
* Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
* Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
* Familiarity with asset management and ITIL support procedures
* UAE driving license with own car is mandatory
