Key Responsibilities
- Lead data engineering and transformation initiatives on cloud-based platforms
- Develop and support enterprise-level data warehouse workloads using Azure and Databricks
- Implement data transformation and processing using pyspark and Spark distributed computing
- Deploy and manage cloud-native data solutions with a focus on Microsoft Azure
- Ensure scalability, performance optimization, and reliability of data pipelines
- Implement platform and application monitoring using cloud-native tools
- Develop self-healing solutions for data applications through proactive and automated measures
Required Skills and Experience
- Overall 5 to 7 years of experience in data engineering and cloud-based transformation
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Azure Data Engineering and Databricks
- Strong expertise in pyspark with experience in developing and deploying workloads on Spark
- Experience in data warehouse management and optimization at an enterprise level
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering
- Experience in cloud deployment and infrastructure monitoring, preferably with Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of automated self-healing solutions for application reliability
