Master Data Executive – GMG – Dubai, UAE
Position Overview
GMG is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Master Data Executive to join its team in Dubai. The role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of all master data across systems including SAP S/4HANA, EWM, ATTP, and D365. The successful candidate will support business units and the data governance team in maintaining high-quality data standards, managing updates, and ensuring efficient data flow between departments.

Key Responsibilities
* Support business units and the master data governance team in all data management and maintenance activities.
* Process and resolve REVO tickets, ensuring timely execution of master data tasks in SAP in line with SLAs and standard operating procedures.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date master data for articles, prices, replenishment, customers, and vendors.
* Ensure compliance with Tatmeen Regulations and company data governance policies.
* Monitor data synchronization and integrity between SAP S/4HANA, EWM, ATTP, and D365 systems.
* Validate and verify data accuracy after creation or modification to maintain quality and consistency.
* Maintain and update REVO approval matrices based on evolving business requirements.
* Identify and communicate incorrect or incomplete data to relevant departments for correction.
* Act as a key liaison between departments for master data queries, providing updates and progress reports as needed.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by refining data governance processes and procedures.
* Define and achieve performance KPIs related to data accuracy, quality, and turnaround time.
* Support ad-hoc business data requests and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for new processes.
* Assist with data cleansing and troubleshooting system or data-related issues in collaboration with IT.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 3–5 years of experience in master data management, preferably in a retail or distribution environment.
* Strong knowledge of SAP and data governance principles.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ticketing systems.
* Understanding of data integration, data quality, and system synchronization processes.
* Excellent communication and coordination skills across business and technical teams.
* Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
