Mathematics Expert - PhDYO IT Consulting is seeking a PhD-qualified Mathematics Expert for a 3 to 6-month remote contract supporting advanced problem-solving, model-answer development, and AI training projects.

Job Overview
The Mathematics Expert will solve advanced mathematical problems and produce accurate, logically structured explanations for AI training. This remote role with YO IT Consulting requires deep knowledge of undergraduate and graduate-level mathematics, excellent academic writing skills, and the ability to communicate complex reasoning clearly.
The selected expert will also develop and review golden responses that demonstrate subject mastery. This contract is expected to run for approximately 3 to 6 months, subject to
project requirements.
Core Duties
* Solve complex mathematics prompts covering undergraduate and graduate curricula
* Create rigorous, accurate, and educational step-by-step solutions
* Develop high-quality golden responses for training and evaluating AI systems
* Review mathematical answers for correctness, completeness, clarity, and logical consistency
* Analyze advanced equations, proofs, theories, and applied mathematical problems
* Translate difficult concepts into accessible and well-organized explanations
* Apply appropriate notation, terminology, assumptions, and mathematical methods
* Identify calculation errors, unsupported conclusions, and gaps in reasoning
* Refine AI training content to meet established academic and quality standards
* Collaborate with a distributed team of mathematics and AI training specialists
* Incorporate reviewer feedback and adapt responses to evolving project guidelines
* Recommend improvements to evaluation rubrics, response standards, and content workflows
* Maintain consistent formatting and deliver assignments within agreed deadlines
Required Skills and Experience
* PhD in Mathematics or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution
* Strong academic record and advanced subject-matter expertise
* Extensive knowledge of pure and applied mathematics
* Ability to solve and explain complex graduate-level mathematical problems
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to present proofs, calculations, and abstract concepts clearly and concisely
* Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to mathematical accuracy
* Experience authoring, reviewing, or evaluating academic mathematics content
* Background working with textbooks, examinations, problem sets, research papers, or comparable materials
* Strong analytical reasoning and mathematical quality-assurance abilities
* Ability to interpret detailed instructions and apply evaluation criteria consistently
