Position Overview
MEP BIM Coordinator job in Dubai with Azizi Developments, responsible for managing and coordinating Building Information Modeling activities across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines for large-scale residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. This Dubai-based role supports coordinated, compliant, and constructible project delivery across all design and construction stages.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate BIM processes for MEP disciplines across design and construction stages
* Ensure all digital information is accurate, current, and accessible to project stakeholders
* Coordinate with project managers, BIM authors, consultants, and internal teams to maintain consistent data flow
* Develop, implement, and enforce BIM execution plans in line with project standards
* Ensure BIM models and digital files are correctly formatted and compatible with coordination platforms including Navisworks
* Perform clash detection, coordination reviews, and issue resolution across multidisciplinary models
* Support document submission processes and follow up on approvals and resubmissions
* Ensure drawings and models comply with local authority requirements and applicable standards
* Manage resubmission of drawings and models based on engineer and authority comments
* Review IFC models for GFC drawing preparation and identify discrepancies
* Maintain coordination during design development, construction documentation, and site execution
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
* BIM-related certification such as Autodesk or ISO 19650 is an advantage
* Minimum 6–8 years of experience in MEP design and BIM coordination
* Proven experience coordinating BIM for medium to large-scale construction projects
* Strong background in multidisciplinary coordination including architectural, structural, interior, landscape, and MEP teams
* Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, ACC, Revizto, AutoCAD, Dynamo, and related BIM tools
* Strong knowledge of BIM execution plans, LOD requirements, clash detection, and ISO 19650 standards
* Familiarity with common data environments such as BIM 360 or ACC
* In-depth understanding of MEP systems, installation requirements, and construction sequencing
* Ability to validate BIM models for accuracy, constructability, and regulatory compliance
* Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills
* Leadership capability to guide BIM modelers and junior staff
