Oracle EBS Technical Consultant

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Oracle EBS solutions with a focus on Financials, Supply Chain, HRMS, Procurement, and other key modules
- Conduct technical assessments and develop customizations and enhancements based on business requirements
- Develop and maintain custom reports, interfaces, data conversions, and extensions using Oracle development tools such as PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, APEX, Workflow, BI Publisher, and XML
- Perform system integrations between Oracle EBS and third-party applications, utilizing APIs, Web Services, and data conversion techniques
- Work closely with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Configure and test Oracle EBS modules to ensure optimal system performance and functionality
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues in Oracle EBS to maintain system stability and efficiency
- Provide post-implementation support, training, and technical guidance to end-users
- Optimize Oracle EBS performance for scalability, security, and operational efficiency
- Stay up to date with Oracle EBS updates, patches, and industry advancements to recommend system upgrades or improvements
- Document technical processes, solutions, and user guides for future reference and system maintenance
Required Skills and Experience
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Certification in Oracle EBS or related technologies is an advantage
Experience
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Oracle EBS Technical Consultant or in a similar technical role
- Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12, including knowledge of system architecture, database structures, and technical components
- Strong technical expertise in Oracle development tools such as PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, APEX, Workflow, BI Publisher, and XML
- Experience in integrating Oracle EBS with external applications through APIs, Web Services, and data conversions
- Knowledge of Oracle R12 standards, table structures, and security management
- Functional understanding of core modules, including Supply Chain Management (SCM), Finance, HR, and Payroll
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud ERP and system upgrades is a plus
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in customizing, developing, and troubleshooting Oracle EBS modules
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills for complex technical issues
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and document technical solutions
