Position Overview
ADNOC Group is seeking a Senior AI and Digital Innovation Engineer to drive the adoption of advanced technologies and artificial intelligence solutions across operational assets. The role focuses on identifying, evaluating, and deploying emerging technologies that improve operational efficiency, enhance safety, support sustainability goals, and accelerate the transition toward autonomous operations. The successful candidate will lead technology innovation initiatives, oversee technology governance frameworks, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate AI-driven solutions into large-scale industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities
Lead ideation workshops to convert operational challenges and business needs into technology use cases that deliver measurable value.
Identify and evaluate emerging technologies that can improve operational performance, sustainability, and safety across company assets.
Conduct technical assessments of vendor proposals and develop design basis and success criteria for technology implementation.
Facilitate risk assessments to evaluate technology adoption risks and identify fit-for-purpose solutions.
Focus on the identification, evaluation, and deployment of artificial intelligence technologies that support autonomous operations.
Implement governance frameworks for proof-of-concept projects and ensure technology solutions meet defined performance criteria.
Drive pilot programs and technology deployment initiatives to ensure successful integration into operational environments.
Support development of digital and AI capabilities across the organization through training and digital upskilling initiatives.
Contribute to the development and execution of technology innovation roadmaps aligned with ADNOC strategic objectives.
Organize technology steering committee meetings and present innovation portfolio updates to leadership teams.
Support governance of technology use cases, including portfolio management, performance tracking, and KPI monitoring.
Coordinate with operational teams to validate business value delivered by implemented technologies.
Support research and development initiatives addressing operational challenges across company assets.
Develop partnerships with technology providers, research institutions, and industry stakeholders to accelerate innovation programs.
Ensure safe and efficient deployment of digital solutions while maintaining compliance with operational and safety standards.
Ideal Profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
10 to 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with strong involvement in technology innovation and digital transformation initiatives.
Proven experience implementing artificial intelligence and advanced digital technologies in industrial environments.
Experience managing technology programs, innovation initiatives, and cross-functional project teams.
Strong understanding of AI applications, machine learning, data analytics, and digital transformation strategies.
Experience in technology portfolio management, budgeting, and project governance.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills related to industrial technology challenges.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and operational teams.
