The Consultant Pediatric Rehabilitation is responsible for assessing and managing pediatric patients with physical, cognitive, and developmental challenges, ensuring personalized rehabilitation programs that enhance quality of life and independence.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physical, cognitive, and emotional aspects of pediatric patients
* Develop individualized rehabilitation treatment plans aligned with patient goals
* Deliver and oversee therapies including physical, occupational, and speech rehabilitation
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and adjust care plans
* Educate families on home-based care strategies and rehabilitation exercises
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation
* Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
* Stay updated with advancements in pediatric rehabilitation practices and technologies
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree with specialization in Pediatric Rehabilitation
* American Board certification in Pediatric Rehabilitation
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant in a rehabilitation setting
* Strong clinical expertise in pediatric therapy and rehabilitation protocols
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
* Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
