Product Owner – Compliance Data Driven Applications
We are hiring a Product Owner for compliance data-driven applications to serve as the primary point of contact for compliance requirements across multiple data-driven platforms. This role is responsible for gathering, vetting, prioritizing, and managing the delivery of compliance-related initiatives. The Product Owner will maintain and refine the backlog, reshuffle priorities as needed, and articulate business requirements for all end users consuming the applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Define detailed business requirements in the form of business requirement documents and user stories.
- Manage the delivery of compliance-related initiatives in collaboration with the technology team.
- Lead a team responsible for supporting compliance-related applications.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide sign-off on completed work.
- Conduct joint planning with business sponsors to define and prioritize group-level compliance initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Head of Product to shape the product roadmap.
- Manage software releases and ensure clear communication with end users.
- Establish, assess, and track key objectives and results (OKRs) for compliance applications.
- Coordinate with upstream application owners for necessary integrations.
Required Experience
- Strong experience in business analysis, stakeholder management, and team leadership.
- Proven track record of software delivery, particularly within compliance-related IT solutions.
- Hands-on experience managing projects across technology in large banking or financial institutions.
Technical Skills
- Experience using Jira for backlog management and project tracking.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel for reporting and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience delivering IT solutions for compliance functions within financial services.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance workflows in large institutions.
