Production Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the production environment to ensure smooth system operations using monitoring tools and dashboards.
- Conduct routine checks to detect and prevent performance degradation.
- Respond to service interruptions and troubleshoot issues, prioritizing incidents based on business impact.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents and recommend preventive solutions.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to identify and resolve bugs, application issues, or network-related problems.
- Support software deployments, upgrades, and patches to ensure minimal operational disruptions.
- Conduct system performance analysis and tuning to improve speed and reliability.
- Provide technical support to end-users and stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of production-related issues.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and best practices to maintain a robust knowledge base.
- Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and security compliance measures are effectively implemented.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support and respond promptly to critical alerts.
- Track service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to uptime and incident resolution.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, system monitoring, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and application support.
- Knowledge of security best practices and system compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze logs and debug system issues.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments, prioritizing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Prior experience in production support, IT operations, or a related field is preferred.
