Job Overview
As the SAP Operations and Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the stable operation of SAP systems across the enterprise. You will manage incidents, service levels, and system performance, while driving continuous improvements and maintaining close communication with business units and service providers. This role is crucial to ensuring operational continuity and SAP system excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
* Lead daily SAP operations to ensure system availability, performance, and security
* Oversee system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities
* Proactively identify system issues and lead resolution initiatives
Service Delivery
* Manage SAP service delivery to meet internal SLAs and quality benchmarks
* Define and document IT service delivery standards and operational procedures
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners to streamline support
Incident Management
* Supervise incident lifecycle from identification to resolution
* Conduct root cause analyses and implement preventive solutions
* Maintain logs for incidents, problems, and service reports to support continuous improvement
Business Engagement
* Act as the primary point of contact for SAP service inquiries from business units
* Deliver timely status updates, reports, and performance metrics
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders through effective communication and responsiveness
Continuous Improvement
* Initiate service reviews, internal audits, and process optimizations
* Stay updated with SAP trends and recommend relevant system enhancements
* Promote innovation and process excellence in ERP operations
Job Requirements
Education:
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience:
* Minimum 5 years of SAP operations and service delivery experience
* Proven leadership in managing SAP environments and IT service teams
Skills:
* Proficient in SAP modules and ITSM tools such as Solution Manager and ServiceNow
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
* Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication abilities
* Familiarity with ITIL service frameworks and ERP service governance
Certifications (Preferred):
* ITIL Foundation or higher
* PMP (Project Management Professional)
* SAP Certified Technology Associate or similar SAP credentials
