Job Overview
As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in guiding development teams through Agile frameworks, ensuring seamless communication, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will be responsible for managing project scopes, resolving obstacles, and supporting product owners in backlog refinement. Your expertise in Agile methodologies will help enhance efficiency and streamline project delivery within Al-Futtaim’s digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project scope and timelines, ensuring on-time delivery of solutions
- Coach team members in Agile frameworks and best practices
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Work closely with product owners to prioritize backlogs and implement changes effectively
- Identify and troubleshoot obstacles that hinder the team’s progress
- Promote continuous improvement through feedback sessions and retrospectives
- Track project KPIs and ensure high-quality deliverables at the end of each sprint
- Guide development teams to higher Scrum maturity and Agile adoption
- Manage risks and escalate issues to ensure smooth project execution
- Communicate project status, risks, and resolutions to stakeholders
Required Skills and Experience
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM or equivalent)
- 4 to 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments
- Strong technical background with familiarity in software development processes
- Excellent knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum artifacts
- Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira or Trello
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field
