Senior Performance Test Engineer – NeoLoad – Dicetek Dubai, UAE
Position Overview
The Senior Performance Test Engineer – NeoLoad – Dicetek Dubai will lead the full lifecycle of performance testing, from strategy and scenario design to execution and reporting. The role requires deep expertise in NeoLoad and proven ability to translate user journeys into realistic workload models, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations to improve system stability, scalability, and performance.

Core Duties
* Plan and own the end-to-end performance testing lifecycle using NeoLoad
* Design, script, and execute test scenarios including load, stress, spike, and endurance tests
* Translate user journeys and business peaks into workload models
* Analyze performance data such as response times, throughput, and error rates to identify bottlenecks
* Provide evidence-based recommendations on capacity, scalability, and SLAs
* Collaborate with developers, infrastructure teams, and product owners to resolve performance issues
* Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines with automated pass/fail gates and trend reporting
* Use APM tools and system logs to isolate performance issues across application, database, and infrastructure layers
* Support database performance testing including query optimization and connection pool management
* Deliver performance reports tailored for both technical and executive stakeholders
* Mentor junior testers and enforce performance testing governance and best practices
Candidate Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software/Systems Engineering, or Information Systems
* Minimum 7 years of experience in performance testing of enterprise applications
* At least 4 years of hands-on experience with NeoLoad (scripting, correlation, execution, and monitoring)
* Certification in Tricentis NeoLoad preferred
* ISTQB Foundation and Advanced Test Analyst/Technical Test Analyst or Performance Testing certification is an advantage
* Strong understanding of web and API fundamentals, caching, sessions, and concurrency
* Experience with APM/observability tools and root cause analysis across full stack
* Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab
* Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
