Position Overview
Senior Performance Test Engineer – NeoLoad – Dubai, UAE will own the full performance testing lifecycle from strategy to execution. The role requires advanced hands-on expertise with NeoLoad, performance analysis, and CI/CD integration. The engineer will translate business requirements and user journeys into realistic workload models, execute controlled performance tests, and provide actionable recommendations on scalability, stability, and system optimization.

What You’ll Do
* Define and execute performance test strategies using NeoLoad across enterprise applications
* Develop and maintain realistic workload models: load, stress, spike, and endurance testing
* Analyze metrics such as response times, throughput, error rates, and resource utilization to identify bottlenecks and optimization areas
* Translate findings into prioritized recommendations for scalability and SLA compliance
* Integrate performance testing with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab) with automated trend reporting and pass/fail gates
* Partner with product, development, and infrastructure teams to design scenarios and resolve performance issues
* Leverage APM/observability tools and logs to isolate bottlenecks across application, database, and infrastructure layers
* Conduct performance testing in cloud environments and scale high-load executions
* Mentor junior engineers and establish performance testing governance
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software/Systems Engineering, or Information Systems
* 7+ years in performance testing of enterprise applications
* 4+ years of advanced hands-on NeoLoad scripting, correlation, and monitoring experience
* Tricentis NeoLoad certification preferred; ISTQB Foundation and Advanced Test Analyst or Performance Testing certifications are an advantage
* Strong understanding of web and API fundamentals (HTTP/REST, caching, CDNs, sessions) and concurrency concepts
* Knowledge of database performance (query optimization, indexing, connection pools)
* Proficiency with APM tools, observability solutions, and system logs for RCA
* Experience integrating performance checks into CI/CD pipelines
* Excellent communication skills to present findings to both technical and executive stakeholders
