Position Overview
The Senior Team Leader – Data and AI Planning will lead the development and execution of RTA’s AI and data science strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and UAE’s national AI agenda. This role is responsible for embedding AI governance, overseeing initiatives, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the authority.

What You’ll Do
* Lead the planning and oversight of AI and data science projects, ensuring excellence in delivery.
* Develop, implement, and monitor AI strategies, roadmaps, KPIs, and performance indicators.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to integrate AI into RTA operations.
* Oversee feasibility studies for AI initiatives, evaluating economic and technical aspects.
* Ensure AI and analytics governance comply with UAE’s national frameworks and standards.
* Assess the operational impact and benefits of AI deployments, driving continuous improvements.
* Represent RTA at national-level forums and provide insights on AI trends and advancements.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
* At least 11 years of experience in AI strategy, planning, or governance.
* Expertise in AI governance, machine learning, deep learning, big data analytics, and cloud technologies.
* Knowledge of robotic process automation and enterprise data platforms.
* Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex strategic initiatives.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
