Job Overview
The SOA Integration Senior Technical Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable and secure integration solutions using Oracle SOA Suite. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust, high-performing integrations using SOA Composites (OSB, BPEL, BAM), adapters, and various messaging protocols.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain SOA 11g/12c composites including BPEL, OSB, and BAM
* Design and implement integration solutions using SOAP/REST web services
* Configure and fine-tune JMS servers, database connections, and other adapters
* Handle exception management, transformations, and mappings
* Perform end-to-end service testing using SOAP UI and OSB Console
* Troubleshoot integration failures and reprocess error records
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support integration solutions
* Prepare technical documentation, including solution design and unit test cases
* Participate in all SDLC phases and provide regular project updates
Required Skills and Experience
* 8–10 years of hands-on experience in Oracle SOA Suite implementation
* Strong command of SOAP, REST, XML, XSD, XPath, XQuery, and WSDL
* Expertise with File, FTP, Database, JMS, and MQ adapters
* Experience with Oracle BAM, OSB console, and SOAP UI
* Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
* Ability to work independently and within a team
